Zambomba Fiesta Flamenca

Zambomba Fiesta Flamenca

DESCRIPTION

“Zambomba” is a musical percussion instrument in Latin America and Spain, that people use to accompany the Christmas gatherings with family, friends and neighbors. It also means actually “the Christmas fiesta” itself. In these fiestas, people sing the “villancicos” (viyancicos) , Christmas songs, mostly in choirs.

The first “Zambomba Flamenca” took place in 2009 in Athens / Greece aiming to support organizations that help children.

Since then, we present performarnces in Greece, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands, hosting flamenco artists, dancers, musicians and choirs in a unique and joyful celebration.
